Our mission
Escape RV Rentals was founded in 2022 with a simple belief: booking an RV or motorhome rental should be transparent, comparable, and stress-free. The RV rental market is fragmented — professional fleet operators, peer-to-peer platforms, regional campervan companies, and one-way specialists all operate independently, making it nearly impossible for travelers to compare apples to apples.
We built Escape RV Rentals to fix that. By aggregating live inventory from verified fleet partners and surfacing peer-to-peer options, we give travelers everything they need to make an informed decision in one place — without hidden fees, surprise insurance gaps, or opaque pricing.
What we are (and what we're not)
We are an independent comparison and discovery platform. We publish city guides, price data, comparison tools, and route guides to help travelers research and book confidently.
We are not a rental company. We don't own vehicles, process payments, or manage reservations. When you click "Book now" on our site, you complete the booking directly on the travel partner's secure checkout.
Think of us like a flight search engine — we find the options, you book on the airline's site.
Our travel partners
Our primary fleet partner is Motorhome Republic, a global motorhome booking platform with depot networks in 34 countries. For peer-to-peer options in the US and Canada, we also surface listings from RVshare and Outdoorsy — the two largest P2P RV platforms in North America.
We select travel partners based on: verified insurance coverage, proven guest ratings, live inventory feeds, cancellation policy transparency, and customer support quality. We may expand to additional partners as we verify their standards meet our criteria.
Editorial independence
Our city guides, road rules summaries, campground data, and price index figures are researched and published independently. Partner compensation does not influence sort order, safety ratings, or the content of our local guides.
- We document real road conditions, length restrictions, and driving law summaries — not marketing copy.
- When a city has known issues for RV travelers (narrow roads, low bridges, LEZ zones), we say so clearly.
- Partner ratings we display are sourced directly from booking platforms and shown with full attribution.
- We never fabricate user reviews or testimonials. If you have a real experience to share, we encourage you to leave a Trustpilot review.
Our data
The RV Rental Price Index aggregates nightly rate data from verified fleet partner booking feeds. Data covers 75+ depot cities across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. Updated monthly. The Fuel Cost Calculator uses published fuel price benchmarks and manufacturer MPG averages for each vehicle class.
